The Curt Teich Postcard Archives Collection Southwest collection includes postcards printed by Curt Teich & Company (1898 – 1978), V.O Hammon Publishing Company (1904 – 1923), and the Detroit Publishing Company (ca. 1900 – 1924).
The Curt Teich Postcard Archives Collection was donated to the Newberry Library by the Lake County Forest Preserve District in 2016.
Digitization of this collection was developed pursuant to a Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) grant awarded to the Lake County Discovery Museum, Lake County Forest Preserve District by the Illinois State Library, an Office of the Secretary of State using funds provided by the U.S. Institute of Museum and Library Services under the provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act.
