  1. 1998 Illinois Fallen Firefighter Memorial Ceremony
    On May 14, 1998, Calvin Plumer (left), Tina Hauk (Brian's widow), and Dean Hauk (Brian's brother), were photographed at the Illinois Fallen Firefighter Memorial Ceremony in Springfield, Illinois. Brian Hauk was honored at the ceremony, along with other Illinois firefighters who had died in the line of duty during the previous year.

The photograph on the left shows damage to the factory, while the photograph on the right depicts the northside of the building where Charles Marx and John Norris were killed when a two story wall collapsed on them. The photograph shows rubble from the wall collapse and the home of Anna Malloy, which was damaged by the fire.
