Annual Report 1916, page 104, "Group of Alaska Moose has been finished and installed in an alcove of the west court...scene reproduced is of the interior of Kenai Peninsula, Alaska with a foreground of poplars, willows, small spruce trees and a painted background of streams and snow clad mountains. Antlers of an old bull are the largest ever recorded, total spread, 78 1/8 inches. The antlers were mounted on a different specimen which is stated on the label.
