Molded procelain with white glaze and gold trim painted around the inner and outer edges of the rim. Between the gold stripes, at the top of the plate, a silkscreen design involving an image of an eagle, displayed on a pedestal, gripping an olive branch. The eagle is in shades of yellow. On either side, a grouping of fourteen flags - seven each side. The U.S. flag is on the immediate left and right, followed by flags of allied nations. The pattern repeats, only the allied flags are different in each group. There are 3 groups of flags, separated by a branch with leaves and red berries. In the center of the face, a brown silkscreen image of FDR. Crest, silkscreened in brown on bottom. On top, an eagle displayed, and a banner reading ALLIED NATIONS COMMEMORATIVE SERIES. On the crest, the words PRODUCED EXCLUSIVELY / FOR / OLD COLONY CHINA, CO. / 681 - FIFTH AVE. / NEW YORK, NY / MADE IN U.S.A.
