The Graham Hospital Association School of Nursing has been reaccredited by the National League for Nursing for an eight year period according to word received by Kenneth C. Etcheson, hospital administrator, and Mary J. Keel, director of the nursing school, from officials at the League’s Council of Diploma Programs in Nursing, located in New York City. The continuance of this designation represents the effort and interest of the school’s director and faculty to present a quality program of registered nurse education. A visiting team representing the accrediting agency spent a five day on-site visit in the nursing school in October of last year. Their report and a self-evaluation narrative written by the faculty were used by the NLN Board of Directors in its decision to reaccredit the local diploma school which operates as a department of the Graham Hospital Association.
