Capping Ceremonies To Be Held In Graham Hospital: Capping ceremonies will be held for 19 students of the School of Nursing Education tomorrow evening in the Graham hospital. Included in the largest class to graduate from the school are; Lucille Coleman, Barbara Harland, Betty Kirkpatrick, Mary Lundry, Marilyn Taylor, Opal Walker, Wanda Waughtel, Caryl Wellbaum and Elsie Mundinger, all of Canton; Constance Arnett, Easton; Denise Bennett, Lewistown: Beverly Fearey and Barbara Wolfe, of Pekin; Hazel Fulscher, Kilbourne; Gertrude Geier, Glasford; Katherine Grzanich, Dunfermline; Shirley Strode, Dallas City; Frances Tomlianovich, St. David; and Ellen Yarnell, of Farmington. The program will be as follows: Invocation, the Rev. Willis Reed; solo, “The Lord’s Prayer,” Marilyn Williams; Charge to class of 1953, Marian Nugent, R. N., B. S., Director of Nurses; Capping: Miss Nugent and Betty Jane Stockov, R. N., B. S., Nursing Arts Instructor, assisted by Lorraine Bennett, Senior, and Marilyn Williams, Junior. Nightingale Pledge by the Class of 1953; Acceptance into the school, Lorraine Bennett, president of the student council; Address; the Rev. James Clancey, Chaplain of Macomb St. Francis hospital; Benediction by the Rev. Father George A. Schramm. At the close of the ceremonies refreshments will be served in the first floor dining room by the women of the training school committee, with Mrs. Wright Mosher, chairman.
