Summer reading participants enjoy
a library party sponsored by the
Glenview Library Association.
The Glenview Library Association was founded in 1939 by Mrs. Max Zabel "to promote the progressive development of the Glenview Public Library, and to increase its usefulness to the community." The Association has made financial contributions annually to the library and has sponsored numerous library exhibits, summer reading program parties, and meetings with teachers and businessmen.
