Reflections on Veteran’s Military Service:
Mr. Romano entered the service in March of 1942 - basic training at Fort Knox, Kentucky. Armed forces training, promoted to Corporal, sent to Camp Campbell, Kentucky, to help form the 12th Armored Division, sent to Camp Barkeley, Texas to complete training. September 9, 1944 to New York to deploy to Europe.
Spearhead for General Patton for one week.
