Illinois EPA provided a GIS shapefile illustrating the location of livestock facilities in
the Little Wabash River basin. In 2000, Illinois EPA assessed the potential impact of
each facility on water quality with regard to the size of the facility, the site condition
and management, pollutant transport efficiency, and water resources vulnerability.
This GIS data has been used as a reference since the surveys were conducted at the
beginning of the decade. At the time of the survey, 57 facilities existed within the
