Implement, on agreed schedule, and provide necessary administrative, technical,
training and marketing support for Illinois CAS
Timeline will be established by statewide CAS implementation team
Identify technical, training and marketing contacts to serve on statewide CAS
implementation team
Create and maintain institution’s CAS Course Bank (course inventory)
Provide annual update to centralized server site on specified deadline
Create and maintain CEG (course equivalency guide) tables for feeder institutions
Create and maintain CEG (course equivalency guide) tables for a majority of the
institutions in Illinois
Create and maintain an academic program (degree requirements) for the IAI
GECC Transfer module in institution’s degree audit system
Used to certify completion of the IAI GECC for prospective (sending and
receiving) transfer students
Create and maintain additional academic programs (degree requirements) in
institution’s degree audit system to include a majority of programs offered at your
institution
Provide CAS training for advisors, counselors, admissions staff and other
interested parties
Provide training for CAS and transfer articulation and degree audit systems to
advisors, counselors and admissions staff
Publicize and promote the use of CAS as a student support service through
student-centered activities, print materials and internet web pages
