Street view of the bank looking north on Milwaukee Avenue. This was the first bank in Libertyville. It opened on April 4, 1892, under the name "The Lake County Bank." The first site of the bank was at 525 N. Milwaukee Ave. and in 1894 it moved to the northwest corner of Milwaukee and Cook avenues. On April 4, 1903, the Lake County Bank was reorganized as the "Lake County National Bank." In 1932, the First National Bank and the Lake County National Bank merged into the First Lake County National Bank.
