#002 The Worlds Columbian Exposition Scrapbook, p. 136 48 EXPOSITION STUDY CLASS REVIEW. Pittsburg, Penn., Sept. 7th, 1892.—Send Study Class work to the Chairman Educational Committee. M. E. McCandless, National Board Lady Managers. Dubuque, Iowa, Sept. 5th, 1892.—I am forming County World's Fair Associations in Iowa. Send more of your Study Class work. I refer you also to the other members of the State Board. Mary B. Hancock, National Board of Lady Managers. New Orleans, La., Sept. 5th, 1892.—I am greatly interested in your classes. Send also to President of our State Board. Mrs. Geo. Christy, Custodian Woman's AuX. W. F. TERMS: Terms for Exposition Study Class Lessons: The lessons are sent monthly by mail at ten cents per lesson; orders are not filled for a class of less than ten or more members hence the order will be four dollars each month for ten lesson sheets of questions on each of the four lessons; which is an expense of only ten cents per week per member. The Authors to be consulted are indicated at the foot of each lesson sheet. The subjects change so frequently no new books are bought; answers to the questions are found in the Encyclopsedias, and authorities usually found in private libraries. But for the use of those who have not the necessary books; for those who do not find the organ- ization of a class practicable and for the purpose of answering the questions bearing upon the exhibits and their location and Exposition news in general the Exposition Study Class Review is prepared. The price is $2 per set of nine monthly issues. The Review, besides the Exposition Notes and Notes from the Editor, will contain quotations from the best authors, being upon the subjects under discussion; that all may have the benefit of the best in our fine State and City libraries. The questions on the lessons are all arranged upon a basis of the Exposition Class- ification of exhibits sent from headquarters, and after much correspondence with Chiefs of departments, and advice from specialists in the various lines of study. The lessons on Electricity are prepared by a practical Electrician. No pains have been spared to make the lessons and the Review both pratical and enjoyable. Send your subscription now and get the review of all the lessons. It will be useful to take with you to the World's Fair for reference, if, as you look at the exhibits, you would like to review what has been taught regarding them. The bound volume of these Reviews will constitute a fine memento of your prepar- ation for making the best possible use of this great educational opportunity—the Expo- sition well studied. The Editor has had the honor of receiving from headquarters an invitation to place the bound volume in the Women's building; an invitation which she is proud to accept. Send all orders, accompanied by price of same, either for the Review or for the Exposition Study Class Lessons, to Mrs. Alice C. Woolger, Room 513 Bort Building, Quincy street, Chicago, Ill.
