This company stays here all the time but they transfer some out . How are you getting along since you got back . I suppose Balma Is still there she will catch a Sucker while she is there. I think I will be here for some time yet . Did you get the card I sent you when I first got here. I HELP YOUR COUTRY BY SAVING . WRITE ON BOTH SIDES OF THIS PAPER . [Page 2] 2 Certainly have got some job now . We are on guard . We are on two hrs . and off four . I went on last night at eight got off at ten o clock . Went back at 2 o clock and got off at four this morning then again this morning alright till ten go on at two and get off at four this evening . Then we don’t have to guard there any more for a week or two . We go out in squads but we get fed good . They gave us a midnight lunch last night . Believe me a fellow sure gets tired of it for we have got to keep walking all the time and can’t talk to any one . The worst part is we can’t smoke when we are on duty . It has been raining some to day if it rains hard I will have to borrow a slicker for this after noon or get wet . I never have got a slicker yet . I have got one more inoculation to take yet then I am done with that [Page 3] [American flag] “WITH THE COLORS” [YMCA logo] part . We get three of them.
