THE SEN BUNDLE FOR RUSSIAN WAR RELIEF WILL ADMIT TO THIS AFFAIR One or more wearable garments tied in a bundle for Russian War Relief will be the total admission charge to an excellent evening of entertainment and inspiring talks in the Masonic Temple hall, 4660 North Kedzie Ave-nue, next Tuesday, at 8 p. m., it was HERMAN BUSH announced today by the Albany Park Council For Aid to the Soviet Union, sponsors of the event. Featured on the program are Helen Bartush, radio and operatic soprano; the Russian American Chorus directed by Nikolai Popov; Tania Kozak, ac-cordionist; Nadia Zinko, violinist; Leona Karkov, dancer; the Kolokol-chiki group of Russian folk-singers and dancers; and visiting stage and radio celebrities. All clothing received will be turned over to the official Russian War Relief branches in Albany Park, at 4458 N. Kedzie Avenue -and 3511 Lawrence Avenue. Herman Bush is chairman of the clothing committee. JEWISH CHILDREN TO MEET IN PROTEST AGAINST THE WHITE PAPER Children attending schools affiliated with the Board of Jewish Education will gather this coming Sunday, March 26, at 3 p. m., at Thorne Hall, North-western University, in a solemn as-sembly to express their protest against Great Britain's attempt to close the doors of Palestine. The Chamberlain White Paper which goes into effect March 31, 1944, closes the doors of the Holy Land to Jewish refugees who are stranded throughout the world without hope for new life. The Jewish children of Chicago will demonstrate their solidarity with all free-thinking people the world over that the White Paper, in the words of Prime Minister Churchill, "is a be-trayal of the solemn promise given the Jewish people in the Balfour Decla-ration of 1917." Twenty-three affiliated schools will participate in this Children's demon-stration. Rabbi Felix Levy and Rabbi Morris Teller will participate in the program. TWO JEWISH BATTALIONS IN ITALY, NAZIS SAY London (JPS)-Two Jewish bat-talions are fighting the Germans on the Italian front, the German DNB news agency reports.
