A number of prominent speakers, whose names will be an-nounced later, will deliver addresses on this festive occasion. The new Temple is now being built on the southwest corner of Bernard and Ainslie streets. The dimensions of the building are 62x110, and it will consist of Sabbath School rooms, a community hall, and an auditorium which will seat 1,000. When com-pleted the Temple will cost more than $150,000, and it will be the most im-posing edifice for religious purposes in the neighborhood. Temple Beth Israel is the first Jewish organization of Albany Park. It was founded in 1917, and for the last three years its activities have been housed in a rented hail at 4818 North Kedzie avenue. More than 200 fam-ilies are affiliated with the congre-gation. WASHINGTON BOULEVARD TEMPLE. Concluding services for the Succoth festival Friday evening at 8:15. Sub-ject of sermon, "The Conclusion- What Then?" Saturday morning serv-ices and sermon at 10:30. Children of the Sabbath school are expected to attend either Friday evening or Satur-day morning services. The week-day Hebrew school will reopen after this week. Children who want to study Hebrew should leave their names at the office. Dancing classes commence Tuesday, October 17. For information, call Kedzie 1212. Affiliated with the Temple are a number of auxiliary societies, of which the most important are the Sister-hood and the Temple Center. Mrs. E. L. Cohen is president of the Sister-hood and Mr. A. S. Benjamin is presi-dent of the center. The officers of the Temple Beth Israel are Theodore W. David, Presi-dent: Albert Falzer, Vice President; Leslie Senelick, Treasurer; Robert Silverman, Secretary, and Charles Benjamin, Financial Secretary. The following are the members of the Committee on the Laying of the Cornerstone: Wi. Levine, Chairman; Albert Falzer, Herman Salzberg, Sjm-uel Fox, H. A. Gordon, Robert Silver-man. Leslie Senelick, Wi. Eichen-baum and Thomas Novak. Colonel Harris Weinstock, one of the foremost Jews of the West, a noted sublicist and man of affairs, died at Palo Alto hospital of a fractured skull, which he sustained when he was thrown from a horse which he was riding near Los Altos.
