Council Chambar,  Apgust 9,19i6 The  Counoil of the  Oity o"^ ir«peT"vniej  TTlinois,  met at 7.30 p. m.     Present: Mayor Piper and Commrs.  Kline, Kroshler and Stoner.  Absent:  Oommr.   Arends.
5 AppTbvedbilife were presented to the amount of $6731.69, and on motion of OoTnmT.   stoner  the bills were allowed.  Teas:  Mayor Finer and Commrs. Kline Kroehlsr and Stoner.  Nays: none.
I Rssolutlon authorizing ths mayor mnd clerk to axeouts a contract with ths Western Pablie Service Company for the constr u ction of a pels line for tha Oity,  to extend from tha east corporate limits to tha watsr and light plant,  was prssented,  and on motion of Commr.  Kline  the same was passsd.  Yeas:   Mayor Piper and Commrs. Klina, Kroehler and Stoner, Hays: none.
An ordinanoa providing for the InRtallation of aewars in a port: of Hapsrville Highlands,   together with the recommendation of ths B Board cf Local    Improvements, wae pressntsd and on motion of* Oonmr. Stonar the  sams was ordered filed with tha oity dark for public inspection for one week,   ^eas:  Mayor Piper and Commrs.  Klina, Kroshler and Stoner, Hays:  Hona.
