A petition for the reduction of the license fee for the sale of cigarettes, signed by Alvin Soott and 79 others, was presented and laid ober to the ntxt mteting.

RESOLVED, That the Mayor and Clerk be authorized to execute a contract with tht Chicago, Burlington and Quinoy Railread Compaay for permission to ereot aad maintaia eight electrio light poles, with wires etc., iq>on the premises of said Conqpany.
