There will be two costume parties for kids grades K-6 on Wed. October 30th. One from 4-5pm and another from 6-7pm. Thursday, October 31st will be die 2-3 year old costume party. It will run from 9:45-10:45am. There will be a limit of 20 at each party. Stop by or call the library to sign up. Happy Halloween! Teen Dance and Bowling Party at Bowl-Hi Lanes Huntley Bowl-Hi Lanes is sponsoring a Teen Dance and Bowling Party called "Rock 'N' Glow Bowl this Friday, October 25th, after the Football game. Highlights of the event include a live DJ, dancing, and a light show. The ticket price covers two hours of bowling, dancing, and fun (random free entry). The event is open to Huntley teens and dieir guests only. Pizza and pop will be served. i^ Bowl-Hi Lanes is located at the comer of Route 47 and Algonquin Road in Huntley. Taffy Apple Day at Harris Bank You're invited to the Harris Bank Huntley on Saturday, October 26th for Annual Taffy Apple Day. The Bank will be giving away free "Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory" Taffy Apples, Apple Cider, and Donut Holes. Hours are Sam until 12 noon. Harris Bank Huntley is located on Route 47 at Algonquin Road. Huntley Park District's Halloween Extravaganza! The best scare for the money! (it's free) Halloween Open House and Hay Ride Saturday, October 26 Celebrate Halloween ai Deicke Park! Our. open house and hay rides are great fim for the littlest monsters in your family. We have games with prizes, and visits from friendly characters all night. We even offer free treats of donuts and cider for everyone. For those who are really into the Halloween, spirit, spooky stories iWill be told in the Boy Scout Cabin. Only the very brave should take a guided tour through the haunted woods at Deicke. Paric Every, year around Halloween^ the spirits come alive and dare the timid ra cross into their domain. All activities are free of charge. Open House: 4;00 - 6;0O pre-school children 6;00 - 8:00 for grades K-4 Open House is inside at the Deicke Recreation Center with games, pri2es, visits fron friendly characters, and activities for the younger crowd, with tasty treats for all! Spooky Stories are told inside the cold, damp and drafty Boy Scout Cabin. It's sure to be a miserable time for all! Join the Fun at Huntley High Band & Choirs' Haunted House By Sue Hansen Enter at your own risk! There will be a frightfully fun Haunted House at the HunUey Factory Shops Outlet Mall (down the "Bose" wing) on October 25, 26 and 31, 5-9pm. This adventure is brought to you by the Hundey High School Concert and Choirs. Tickets are available at the door, or in advance for a discount price at die Hundey Schools. Huntley Factory Shops Trick or Treat Hours Children are invited to Trick or Treat at HunUey Factory Shops stores on Thursday, October 31, from 4pm to 6pm. The mall is located at die intersections of 1-90 and Rt. 47, Huntley. Following the mall Trick or Treat hours (4-6pm) on October 31, children are invited to "Dine widi Dracula" in Hundey Factory Shops enclosed Food Court! Tom Berry, local children's entertainer, will tell a scary, participatory tale of Halloween horror. The mall is located at the intersections of 1-90 and Rt. 47, Huntley. Last Weekend to Enjoy Tom's Fall Festival of Fun Tom's Fall Festival of Fun is open this Saturday and Sunday from 11am until 5pm (weather permitung). This is the last scheduled weekend for diis season. Tom's invites you to bring out die family for some good old farm fun. Come and enjoy pony rides, hay rides through die fields, face painting, and a Giant Pumpkin Jumper. Wander through Tom's Straw Maze Kingdom and piles of pumpkin or pet the farm animal.
