VARSITY LOSE PT The Huntley Redskin Varsity Team played a heartbreaker against VaUey Lutheran losing 61-61. The entire 4 quarters were close with the score going back and forth. The starting lineup for the Skins were Jim Goehl, Dave Livingston, Dale Erath, Dave Schachtner and Scott Neperman. The Redskms took the lead with a layup by Goehl but Valley came right back with 2 pts. Erath added 2 pts. Valley's Waterman and Graff made 5 pts. Goehl made a basket. Valley moved the score to 9-6. Neperman added 1 pt. cmi a free throw but Waterman made 2 free throws. Schachtner and Livingston rebounded. In a super play Schachtner rebounded and Livingston scored. Goehl stole the ball. Hall added 1 for' Valley. Goehl made a save. Valley's Waterman moved the score to 14-9. Hal! made another basket. Dave Seaver made a great long shot. Schachtner stole the ball. Valley scored again for an 18-11 lead in the 1st. In the 2nd, Seaver stole the ball and made a long shot. Valley added 2 pts. Schachtner came back with 2 pts. Erath made a save. Seaver made another long shot for 20-17 score. Goehl made a super rebound. Erath moved the Skins to 20-19. Livingston stole the ball. Valley moved ahead by one pt. but Dave Livingston tied up the game. Valley's Waterman added 1 pt. but Schachtner came right b ack adding 4 pts. to give Huntley the lead 25-22. VaUey added 4 pts. Erath moved the Skins ahead by 1. Valley's Krage added 2. Erath tied up the game at 28-28 on free throws, Valley's Waterman made a basket Erath tied up the game at 30-30. Valley moved them in front by 4 pts. The second half began with Erath moving the Skins to 34-31 on a layup. Valley added 4 pts. Seaver ntade kmg shot for a 38-34 score. Because we are able to share the movies with the Marengo Park District, we have been able to reduce the admission to $1.00 per person or S2.00 per fiunily. So Moms k Dads ifyou have any tast minute shopping to do or would like to rest up before that big New Year's Eve party, bring the kids to the sack lunch room at the Huntley Grade School. On Monday, December 22 at 1:00 p.m. we will be shovring "Hugo the Hippo" over at 2:30 p.m. On Wednesday, December 31, "Gus" will be shown at 1:00 also in the sack lunch room.
