Chas. Oarland ate Sunday dinner with P. M. Edwards. Cornelius Kessler, 14 year old son of .Mr. and Mrs. Oeo. Kessler, died Saturday night of pneumonia, after an illness of a week. Mrs. Oliver Bangert visited one day last week with.Mrs. Wm. Ban¬ gert. Pauline Bryant is slowly Improv¬ ing. Mrs. Wm. Pugh visited a few days last week with her mother, Mrs. Ella Wood, who has been sick the part week. Mrs. H. C. Peters spent Wednesday with Mrs. T. A. Blunk. Eskle Webster and family, of near Louisville visited Saturday at Lon Websters'. Mrs. Sylvester Knowles visited' at the hotel Saturday eve. Mrs. Kathryn Ingram called on Mrs. Roy Bryant Sunday afternoon. Cecil Sparling was upable to tea£h Monday. Earl Stanley and wife were Sun¬ day visitors at Ed Smith's. The Sunday School class of the Christian church underthe direction of Miss Cora Turner, entertained the adult classes at a Martha Washing¬ ton tea on Wednesday eve at the church. Readings solos and orches- Itra music were the entertaining fea¬ tures. GIvens, in west Flora Saturday night. Feb. 25. , Another good time reported. Mlss Oladys McVeigh, who has been home from her work for sever¬ al days battling a case of "tlu" ts better at this writing. Ray Spencer -was absent from school one day last week. Mr. and Mrs. Wayne .McVeigh and children spent Monday with their parents, C. W. McVeigh and wife. Miss Mabel QuIIett spent last Thursday night with Mrs. Minnie Ashlock. Alberta and Grace Jones have the whooping cough. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Olbson and family and Miss Hazel spent Sunday with Fred Klrby and wife, Mrs. Hallle King entertained her brother trom Floca over.
