Lewis Thursday after- Moon. The valentine soeial at tba M. B. aburch Saturday night was wetl at¬ tended. Proceeds were about $24.00 Mrs. Otto Lewis played several flno pieces on the piano. Sam Monical has a son-ln-taw, his daughter, Mlss Avis, having recently grot marrted in Indianapolis, where abe has been for some time. Mlss Oenelle Faeth had a blrthdtiy Bnnday and entertained some of her little trlends. Those present were Helen Specht, Inetta Eastln, Louise Specht, Merte Laycoax, and Marie Nash. A fine time was had. C. F. Eastln and wtfe and B. J. Batl spent Sunday wltb Bills Hall and famity. Orvllle Sundereman had a sale on Wedneaday ot last week and left Sanday for Indtanapolis, where they will move soon. Arthur Diets and wlte spent Bun¬ day with his parents, Chas. Diets and wlte. Dale Specht, who is attending aebool at Carbondale, Is at bome tor a vacation. Mis* Madeline Richar* visited Mra. Salda Williams Sunday. Louise WInterrowd and Marie Bal¬ lard were visitors with Nina Boose Snnday. C. A. Oould was absent from tho atore the tirst ot the week on account of sickness.
