Gibson motor¬ ed to Mason Monday to spend the day with Mr. and Mrs. C. W. Winters parents of Mrs. Gibson. A dinner was given in honor of Mrs. Winters' six¬ ty-first birthday anniversary. Rev. W. I. Terhune was called to Newton Thursday on account of tbe Illness of his father.- - Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Dale were at Martinsville. Ind, Mrs. Bd Williams was visiting in Johnsonville the first of the week. Mrs. Annie McElroy has gone to Chicago to make an extended Wsit. Mrs. Jos. McDonald of Chicago, who has been visiting L. B. Keith and family departed for her home on Monday. She was accompanted by Mrs. Mabel Huff. They are mak¬ ing the trip In Mrs. Huff's Ford coupe. Mrs. Huff will visit Chicago relatives and friends for about ten days. Mrs. Mary Cunningham arrived on Wednesday from Long Beach, Cal., to spend tbe summer with her daughter, Mrs. Jerry Bowman and family. He Is a Flora boy and received his education In the Flora schools. Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Marberry and children of Villa Grove, are guests of Mr. and Mrs. R. Mattox.
