The bereaved family have the sympathy of the entire neighborhood. Koonts and tamily took din ner Sanday at the home of Lewis Tadlock. R. B. Woomer and family of Xenln, Bd Woomer and family, and Helen Woomer, took dinner at the home of Mrs./Iariah Woomer. ILLINOIS Authoriied Capital Stock $4,000,000.00 At a meeting of a few of the then prominent citizens of Flora, held at the office of Presley and Gray on January 10, 1888, the Asso- j( , ' ciation was organized under the above name, which it still bears. The . meeting was called to order by one who was always foremost in all ' v public movements, the late Randolph Smith; a constitution and by-. ' laws were adopted, and the following men were elected as the. first board of directors: J. M. Cunningham, George Herod, Geo. W. An¬ drews, T. A. Wilson, Jay Kenner and M. H. Presley. This board then met and organized with the election of the following officers: Ran¬ dolph Smith, pres.; W. N. McMahan, vice pres.; W. C. Kenner. treas¬ urer, I. H. Smith, sec; and G. A. Hoff, attomey. r * v ^^'v-"i;'#^^ The first monthly directoral^meeting was held January 22, ISSS, at which meeting 489 shares of stock were reported subscribed (the as¬ sociation no^ has approximately 10,000 shares outstanding). -> > Since the above named first officers, the following have ftlled the respective offices down to the present time; President, T.
