There will be lots of big eats, Music, Base Ball Games, Athletic Events and many other features to make it a pleasant and profitable three days. Also every soldier in Clay county will be here and many from adjoining counties. Make no other arrangements because your name is already in the pot. COMPANY "L i(T " ARRIVES HONE Back From France, Praised by the Governor, the Prairie Divi¬ sion of Illinois, With Co. "L," is Home at Last Tiiesday. May 20, the Transport SIbony arrived at New York with many thousand soldiers. Among the troops were the boys of the ,t3d Divi¬ sion—the Prairie Division composed nf Illinois' former guardsmen. Among the units of this Division were the i:i()tli regiment, all Southern Illinois boys, and Co. "L" of Olney was a part of this regiment. Wlth-Co. "L" were 1(1 (.'lay County boys. The Division was Hrst taken to Camp Mills, New York, and then to ¦Chicago, where a grand parade took place last week, after which It was sent to Camp Grant and discharged with honor. Sunday, June 1st, the boys com¬ prising Co. "L" reached Klora, Ol¬ ney. Sumner, and home, and were joyfully welcomed by hundreds of re¬ latives, friends and admirers.
