Description
This frame building was located on the North West corner of Vine and Progress . We are uncertain as to it's usage but suspect it served as the Post office in early days , and perhaps later as popcorn and candy shop . Story is that O . E . Gibson was appointed postmaster in May 1899 . He built the sorting table , mail boxes , cabinets etc, at this location .
