Also discusses his years before the General Assembly: family, farming, Millikin University, University of Alabama law school, and his navy service in WWII. He also discusses his activities after leaving the legislature: service as Illinois Auditor of Public Accounts and Vice-President of the 1970 Illinois Constitutional Convention. |
