SPECIAL ELECTION HELD NOVEMBER 18, 1911
A special election was held in the Town of St. Charles, County of Kane and State of Illinois on Saturday, November 18th, 1911 under the act entitled "An act to establish and maintain
parks and parkways in towns and townships" the following proposition was voted on "Proposition to Issue park bonds of tho Town of St. Charles, County of Kane, State of Illinois, to the amount of $25,000.00 for the purpose of procuring and improving a small park."
The polling places were as follows.
First Precinct at Glos Building, 51 E. Main St.
Second " " Gas Office, W. Main St. & 3rd
Third " " Cassidy Barber Shop, 44 W. Main St.
Fourth " " Ed. McDonald Barber Shop, 56 E. Main 3t.
The polls of said election were declared open and the balloting began at 8 o'clock A.M.
The election was conducted on the Australian system of holding elections.

E. F. Goodell, P. Hempstead, E. M. Hurd.
Clerks of election in First Precinct were: C. W. Locke, Fred Tyler, C. D. Wing, Jr,
Judges of election in Second Precinct were:
C. T. Kingsbury, B. F. Cassidy, J. M. Baldwin
Clerks of Election in Second Precinct were:
N. J. Ayers, C. W. Lutton, J. J. Jenning.
Judges of Election in Third Precinct were:
J. B. T. Wheeler, Henry Roehlk, Chas. A. Olsen. Clerks of Election in Third Precinct were:
F. K. VanDerVolgan, Geo. K. Tanner, Van Rockwell.
Judges of Election in Fourth Precinct were:
Henry A. Glos, E. A. Brownell, Ellis A. Gray
Clerks of Election in Fourth Precinct were:
Louis Glos, C. L. Blanchard, Francis Webb.
The polls of election in the aforesaid Election Precincts were closed at 7 o'clock P.M. and the Judges and clerks proceeded to count the ballots.
