The Council of the City of Hapervilie, Illinois ,met at 7:30P.^.
Present: Mayor Thcapson and Oommrs. Hiltenbrand, Kluckhohn, Rohr and Sigmund.
Minutes of meeting held Deoember 28, 1928, were read and approved.
Approved bills were presented tc the aaount of $2770.29 and on motion of Commr. Rohr the bills were allowed. Teas: Mayer Thompson and Coamrs. Hiltenbrand, Kluckhohn, Rohr and Sigmund. Hays: Hone.
The application cf J.W.Staffeldt for a beverage licenee was again presented and on motion of Commr. Kluckhohn actien on the same was again posponed. Teas: Mayor Thompson and Coamrs. Hiltenbrand, Kluckhohn, Rohr and Sigmund. Naye: Hone.
The report of the chief of police fro December, showing arrests 46, finee $472,70 and costs $168.70, was presented and ordered filed.
On mction of Commr. Sigmund the Coiincil adjourned.

Ths following resolution was presented:
WHEREAS, the Honorable Len Small, Governor of Illinois, in his offioial capacity, has devised a way and means to construct a new concrete bridge over the DuPage River cn State Bond Ilsue Route 18, (Washington Btreet), ^n the City of Napervills;
AND WHEREAS, this improveaent providee a eafe passage over said River by replawsing the old iron structurs whioh has long been regarded as unsafe and Insuffiolsnt to
