| Description | This picture shows the Arlington Heights railroad station built in 1892 and located between Dunton and Evergreen Avenues. This was the second train station in Arlington Heights. It boasted wide places to park buggies to unload on either side of the tracks. The first station was moved a block west of Dunton Avenue to make room for the newer station and it became the freight station. This item is part of the collection of the Arlington Heights Historical Society (http://www.ahmuseum.org). |
