IMPRESSIONS OF WASHINGTON. D. C.Something new in the line of cover pictures was furnished this week by Ivan Beard, local resident, who submitted the above composite drawing showing some of the impressions he received of the nations capital during his stay there during the past year. During his stay, he visited many historical points, and sketched them, combining them all in the above pen and ink sketch. The sketch of Lincoln was made only aftef. special permission had been received from the capitol architect to do the work.
