HERALD
THURSDAY, MARCH 2. 1944
PRICE 5 CENTS
PAY-AS-YOU-GO or pay when you can, Uncle Sam's latest cryptographic income tax report's a struggle! Well- versed in facts and figures, Louis F. Nelson, president of the First National Bank of Maywood, should know (if anybody does) the how, the why, and the how much, but even he started two weeks early. The main office of the Collector of Internal Revenue in the Court House downtown, and all branch offices within the city's limits, including the one in the Oak Park post office, will stay open daily, except Sunday, through March 15, until 9 p.m.; suburban offices until 7 p.m., for your convenience.
