ASA Tourney Finals Open on Tuesday
(See page 36)
RELAXING IS FUN at the Bellwood swimming pool whether it is done by swimming in the elevated pool, basking in the sun on the picnic grounds surrounding the pool or chatting with friends as (left to right) Eddie Gilbert, Gloria Rizzo. Betty Clark. Fred Mons. Bob Sittner. life guard Anne Virgin and A E. Ross. pool manager, are doing above. Open during the summer months from 1 to 9 p.m. daily the pool contains water purer than drinking water in the home. Another chemical bromine, which is used by the army and navy, has replaced chlorine as a purifier this year. Bromine can be used in as larqe a quantity as necessary. It will kill all germs without causing irritation of the skin. The park where the pool is located comprises more than 12 acres. A two story community building containing showers, a refreshment stand, first aid room, a large recreation room and offices; picnic grounds complete with tables and camp stoves, tennis courts, a child's wading pool and a small lagoon where children fish are also located in the park.
