FOR HIS COUNTRY
Typical of the spirit which prevails in the civilian population of Proviso township is J. W. Harris, 78 years of age, shown here operating a drill press in a war work training class. Proviso high school has expanded its war college and night school and is busy training young men and women for industries. Regardless of age, citizens by the thousand are training themselves to the end that they may be better able to serve their country in its time of need.
