BUILDING A DEN is one method these Cub Scouts hit upon for securing points. Members of Cub Den 6, these 10-year-olds get one point each for their construction work and one point for everything they put into the Den. Their chief building materials are old scraps of wood, tar paper, and plenty of nails, according to our photographer. Reading from left to right, they are Gilbert Perigo, Eldore Vought (with saw], Dickie Ellis, Joseph Hautsch (on ladder) and Curtis Cooksey (on roof). John Brontsma, the sixth member of the den, was unable to be present.
