INDIFFERENT TO THE HEAT are 3-year-old Patty Ludlam, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Ludlam of 415 South 6th avenue, Maywood, and her illustrious senior, Billy Winters, 5-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Winters, 405 South 7th avenue, Maywood. As the temperature soared, the youngsters, like many other citizens, dashed to the corner confectionery, seeking to allay the effects of the heat by means of ice cream cones and cold carbonated drinks.
