Cites Work of Dr. Pearce (See Page 3) Vets Council Names Office Manager (See Page 3) Proviso Goes to Clinton Tourney (See Page 24) Genial Smiling Postmen, carrying odd-shaped parcels and bags heavy with holiday mail, ploughed through the snow-covered walks of the villages last week to deliver the mail to community residents. Ray Lips, pictured above, of 502 North 2nd avenue, Maywood, has been serving the villagers on North 6th, 7th, 8th and 9th avenues for the past 33 years and is still too young to retire. Known for his friendliness to and interest in the families he serves, Lips was snapped outside the post office as he started out on his route early one morning.
