After dark and time to go to bed
Dear Sister
I was happy to receive night before last your long lost letter which enclosed your photograph hurrah for dixie and the union army. Sure I'll keep the dear thing in one testement till I get home sure and then Ill keep it sure It seemes to have been running around considerable it has been to Caro twice it reached there the first time on Dec. 18th and agan March 6 and reached here March the 12th Just as I had returned from A 4 day scout after the rebbelles having been out from camp some 20 miles I should have written before but have not had time as I had to go on Pickut yesterday
