The subject matter of this pamphlet will constitute the issues of the State campaign preceding the primary election on August 8, 1908, and thereafter until the general election on November 3d next. This pamphlet, therefore, should be preserved for future reference by those who desire to discuss intelligently the issues of the campaign or who are interested in the administration of public affairs in this State.
Aside from its use as a political pamphlet, it is a store-house of information - regarding the progress of the State during the last three and one-half years.
The pamphlet is divided into chapters bearing titles appropriate to their contents. Each chapter is complete in itself. Its index furnishes an easy means of reference to any special information desired. It has been carefully compiled and will be found to contain ample information upon all phases of the present administration.
