Hey Parents! Dec. 16 is the day you've all been waiting for! We all know how hectic those last few days before Christmas can get, so we're going to help! Bring your kids to the Deicke Recreation Center from 9:30-1:00 where they enjoy playing games, making crafts, hearing stories and just have a great time playing with the other kids! Send a sack lunch. The fee is $6.00 per child, or $10.00 per family. Please register soon.
Cookie fc Recipe Exchange: This is a great way to get a variety of cookies for the holidays without the fuss of making them all yourself. Just bring as many cookies as you'd like (at least 3 doz.) to the office building in Deicke Park on Wednesday, Dec. 20 along with your recipes (we can make copies, so you don't have to write them all out). Then come back on Thursday, Dec. 21 and choose your number of cookies from the different varieties that have been brought in by other people. A "mini" cookbook will be compiled of all the different recipes that have been brought in and will be ready for you when you come in on Thursday. If you would like to participate, but can't come to the office, just call, 669-3180 and we'll see that they get picked up for you.

What Are Those Green Containers?
Due to the present landHll crisis, the customers of the Marengo Disposal Company in the Huntley Village have started a recycling porgram. They have been asked to recycle items such as newspapers, grocery bags, aluminum cans, clean glass jars and car batteries. Green toters were provided to customers to be placed at the curb on their pick up day. Hopefully these small measures will help provide a cleaner environment.
