Huntley Farmside Awards Lifetime Subscription
Julia O'Brien, (center front) granddaughter of The Huntley Farmside owner Suzanne Brown, drew the name of Ralph Drafall as the winner of a lifetime subscription to the newspaper given away at the Huntley Town Picnic. Assisting in the drawing were Julia's cousins (1-r, front) Karel Tietjen, Sherry Tietjen, (back) Pamela Sophie, Alicia Sophie and Amy Sunden.
Congratulations to Pete and Martha Velos. The two were married in the new Huntley gazebo in Town Square Park on Saturday, June 25th.
New Huntley Gazebo Hosts Wedding

Huntley's new gazebo hosted its first event the afternoon of Saturday the 25th of June. Congratulations to Pete and Martha Velos of Huntley, who were manied under the brand new copper roof
The gazebo, finished just in time for the wedding, was constfucted with the help of many volunteers and donations. Look for a dedication ceremony to be held late this summer.
Huntley Village Board Convenes
The June 9 regular meeting of the Huntley Village Board of Trustees was held in the board room of the Village Hall and called to order by President Dhamer at 7:04pm.

Local attorney Herb Franks of Franks, Filler ic Gerkin of Marengo, hosted a brunch for Democratic candidate for governor of Illinois, Dawn
Clark Netsch, last Sunday at his home on East Grant Highway.
Netsch spoke to about fifty people who attended the event.
