School to Host Holiday Book Fair

Storyteller Night
Nov 14, 7:30-8:15 Storyteller Marie Ringenberg will present stories, folk or fairy tales, on November 14 at 7:30 pm in the Grade School Cafeteria. Marie tells stories for all ages and mixes storytelling with song. Marie presents other themes such as: "Animal Antics", "Food Glorious Food", "Secrets - Can You Keep One?", "King Stork", and "Tales of Wonder".
Bring your son, daughter, teen, mom, dad, grandma or grandpa, for a different type of evening's entertainment
The Media Center, located in the Grade School, will be having a Holiday Book Fair, from November 12-15. This is the perfect time to shop for holiday presents, birthdays, etc. A lxx)k is a perfect gift for any child or adulL Our fair will feature gift books and other gift items, for all ages from preschool through adult.
Anderson Book Company of Naperville is the lxx)k fair vendor. Mike checks payable to Huntley School District 158.

Hunter Named "Most Inspirational"
A Hunfley teacher. Bill Hunter, recenfly received a certificate citing him as a Most Inspirational Teacher based on an anonymous survey of incoming Western Illinois University students.
Incoming students to WIU this fall were asked to name their most inspirational teacher. WIU President Donald S. Spencer sent a certificate and letter to Bill to congratulate him on being an inspiration to students and to assure him his commitment to educating youfli was appreciated.
This is the Uiird year the award has been presented. Spencer initiated the recognition during his first year as WIU president in 1994.
Spencer stated in the letter,"!
consider it a distinct honor to notify you that an incoming student at Western Illinois University has named you as his or her most inspirational teacher.
"Please accept my personal congratulations for the special efforts you have made in support of your students," he added. "The events of recent years have called attention to a series of challenges- intellectual, technological, economic, social, and political- fliat are essentially unparalleled in out national experience. These challenges will be met successfully only through the highest possible quality of education, and I applaud you obvious commitment to realizing fliat goal."
Networking Group Open House
November 7, 5pm - 7pm
The HunUey Network Marketing Group is presenting and Open House/Showcase on Thursday, November 7, from 5 until 7 pm The Open House/Showcase will be held in the Huntley Center (next to the Hundey Supermarket).
A cash drawing will be held; First prize will be $100, Second prize will be $50. Additional prizes and gifts will be award by participating businesses. Light refreshments will be served.
The Huntiey Network Marketing Group members are members of die Huntley Area Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
London Fog Now Open at Huntley Factory Shops
Huntley Factory Shops, a manufacturers' ouUet center owned and operated by Baltimore-based Prime Retail, welcomes it's newest store, London Fog Factory Store, to its merchant lineup, announced Miles Crawford, general manager of the outlet center. Taste of Trinity Soup & Salad Luncheon
The Trinity Lutheran Church will be hosting a soup and salad luncheon on Thursday, November 7th from Ham to 2pm.
A craft fair and bake sale will also be included at the luncheon.
