Bank to Celebrate Grand Reopening
It's been forty years in the making, and the Grand Reopening of one of Huntley's banks signifies the start of tfie next 40 years in McHenry County.
The Huntley branch of McHenry Savings Bank invites you to join the party this weekend: All the businesses on the north side Huntley Center on Route 47 will be joining in on the event, too.
Huntley's branch has been located on the north side of town since 1977, and this weekend's celebration marks the reopening of the bank and its new look. Cathy Shamhart, Branch Manager called it "a whole new look, inside and out. It's hard to miss us now when you drive by on 47 - especially at night - because of our
new driveup canopy and color scheme. And, we have tried to reward your eyes when you come into our lobby, too!" The bank is newly remodeled inside and out
The festivities actually get under way Thursday night with a reception for the Huntley Area Chamber of Commerce and other business in and around town. "We'll be combing the sky with a searchlight on Thursday for our businesses community and on Friday for everyone," stated Shamhart, "and then bodi Friday night and Saturday we celebrate with ALL our customers. Saturday, we'll have clowns and balloons for the kids inside and out, and some nice giveaways and jffizes fi'om the other stores in the Continued on Page 14
Huntley Pioneers Deliver "Care Mugs" to Shut-ins

Middle School Presents "Krazy Kamp" /^^^^^ ^^^^
Chamber Mixer Nov. 14th
Huntley Middle School presents "Krazy Kamp". This lively, musical comedy takes place at a girls' summer camp. With disgruntled camp directors, teenage runaways and intruders from the boys' summer camp, this camp is definitely a "Krazy Kamp". (Kristin Bein is shown hiding at camp.)
Directed by teachers, Adair Spencer and Denise Mollencamp, and performed by middle school students, "Krazy Kamp" promises to be an action packed, hilarious good time.
It all happens Friday, November 15 at 7pm and Saturday, November 16 at 3pm in the grade school gym. Don't miss it! General admission tickets will be available at the door.
McHenry Savings Bank, 10390 Route 47, will be hosting an Open House /After Hours Mixer on Thursday, November 14th from 5-7pm. The Bank will be celebrating the remodeling of their facility. As the cold weather approaches, we know how much we dread being outside for long periods of time. There's a group of people, however, that don't have the choice to come out of the cold like most of us do - the homeless.

Chiropractor To Sponsor Food Drive
The Huntley Chiropractic and Massage Ther^y Center will hold their annual Patient Appreciation Day on Tuesday, November 19.
Dr Awe will give free Chiropractic care and new patient exams for a donation of non- perishable foods to be distributed by the Grafton Township Food Pantry for needy families in our area. Donations will be accepted all week. Call 669-0266 for an appointment
Thanksgiving Baskets
Members of Moming Star World Ou&each Church, in Huntley, are putting together Thanksgiving baskets filled with a complete uncooked meal for families in the area who are in need.

Coats For Kids

The Kiwanis Club of Huntley is sponsoring its aimual "Coats for Kids" Drive. Boxes will be placed at the following Drop Off Points through November 15, 1996: Huntley Fire Station, Huntley Grade School, Huntley Super¬ market, Huntley Park District, Huntley Village Hall, Huntley Library, Walsh Chiropractic Clinic, First National Bank of Marengo Huntley Banking Center, and Harris Bank of Huntley.
The coats should be cleaned if possible and will be collected by Kiwanis Club Members to be given to Grafton Township for distribution.
This is the last week to give "Coats for Kids".
Beginning the week of November 18, 1996 until January 1997 coats for children and adults will be available for pick up at the Grafton Township Office at 10109 Vine St. for those who need coats for the winter season. The hours for pickup are Monday, Thursday and Friday from 9am to 2pm.
