Left: The Easter Bunny passed out goodies to Huntley children at Deicke Park on Saturday. Chamber Plans Clean Sweep Huntley The Village of Huntley will hold its annual Clean Sweep Huntley project on Saturday, April 20. On that day, volunteers pick up trash from public streets and highways throughout Huntley. Last year, lunteers filled six dumpsters to ^irflowing. Organizations, groups, and individuals interested in helping are asked to contact Dr. Bill at 669-0266 or the chamber office at 669-0166. Volunteers may also join the gathering on April 20 at 7:30am in Deicke Park to help. Huntley Firefighters To Hold Freezer Fill Fundraiser At Parkside The Huntley Firefighters Association will hold a "Freezer Fill" fundraiser on Saturday, April 13, at 7pm at Parkside Pub. All proceeds will benefit the Huntley Firefighters. Meats and poultry to be raffled off include ribs, duck. ham, bacon and much more. The Parkside is located at 11721 E. Main St., Huntley, one block east of Rt. 47. Call 847/669-8496 for more information. (The Huntley Firefighters Association is a not for profit organization.) Two Points!! Mrs. Mas, the Huntley Elementary principal, sinks a two pint shot in the new basketball hoop. See complete story is on page 9.
