Pictured above John Giombor, Bemice Bakley, Ross Fruin, and Marilyn and Bob Eckman being interviewed by WTTW Channel 11 producer Kay Weibel for the documentary "Chicago Matters".
Last Saturday morning several people gathered at the Village Inn on Main Street to talk about the way things used to be in Huntley, how they are changing, and what it may be like here in a couple of years. Not much new about that; a pretty typical Saturday moming at Billy's.
This particular group of people, however, had this particular conversation with an audience; a very large audience. Their conversation was filmed by WTTW Channel 11 and will be part of a three part documentary "Chicago Matters". Part One of the series, "Moving Stories" will focus on people moving from one area to another. Part Two, tentatively titled "Building Community" will profile several communities (both suburban and city) in the throes of transition. Part Three will look at the region as a whole. The series will air in April.
Part Two, the segment that will include the footage shot in Huntley last Saturday, is being produced by Kay Weibel who also produces "Chicago Tonight".
