Parkside Volleyball: Exciting Huntley pastime By Jill Wenzloff Editor For the better part ofthe summer, Parkside Tap has hosted a sand volleyball league of local teams. Teams play under the lights on Mon., Tues., and Wed. nights, competingagainst teams made up of local businesses and groups of friends. "It's just something that's really fim for the adults in Huntley to do," said Cindy McDonald, owner (with husband Mark) ofthe Parkside Tap. This season, 11 teams participated in the league, including teams sponsored by Huntley Travel, H.S. Crocker, Clasens, Parkside, PR. Parrot's, Custom Graphics, Gary Weiss Landscaping, and Woodstock Sanitary. Other independent teams include the "Fruitcakes," "Road Dogs," and "Caped Crasaders."
