l^rk District plans fall programs
The Huntley ParkDistrict is growing right along with the rest of the community. There are many new faces on staff, and the district has entered the computer age with computer registration. The District says it will miss the sleepy laid-back District that they have grown accustomed to but are excited by the prospects for the future.
The largest growth area is in children's programming. The district will be adding to that program a Mom's & Tots Craft and Activities
class that will meet on Friday mornings from 9:00am till 11:00am. Lookformoredetailsintheup" ling October events flyer.
The ever-popular soccer program starts Saturday, Sept. 9. Games are played at 01' Timers Park between 9:00am and 2:00pm. Stop out and see a game and cheer on the players. The walking paths are well- groomed and the temperature is getting better for a walk in the park. Each of the paths is just less than one
mile, perfect for fitness walking or just strolling to de-stress. If you include doing the fitness stations at or Timers Park, you'll get a great all-around workout . If distance is what you're craving, a walk around Deicke Park across Rt. 47 at Mill Street to Church Street and left to Ol'Timers Park, around Ol'Timers Park and back to Deicke Park is a great fitness walk that takes between 45 minutes and one hour ~ A real calorie and fat-burner.
