Multi-Use Facility To Be Built By Prime Group
Steven R. Baron, Senior Vice President of The Prime Group, Inc., has announced that the firm will develop a 153,600 square foot multi-use warehouse and distribution facility in Huntley. The state-of-the-art project will be located in the Huntley business park on Oak Creek Parkway east of Rt. 47, within the 2,650 acre master-planned community of Huntley.
"We are currently marketing spaces of 20,000 sqiiare feet and greater," noted Baron. "This Kane County locale is an excellent choice for businesses who will benefit from the direct access to major transportation routes and substantially lower real estate taxes. In addition. The Prime Group has enforced the highest design and contfol standards at Huntley to ensure long-term value of properties within the park." This initial project is the first of several speculative warehouse/ distribution buildings planned for the Huntley business park, creating important new opportunities for suburban Chicago's growing northwest corridor.
The 153,600 square foot multi- u|e building will feature 28' clear ^^ngs, ESFR sprinkler system, and 40' x 40' bays. Other amenities include parking for 248 cars and 40 truck docks. The property will be bordered on the east by natural wetlands, and on
the west by a serene water landscape with a detention pond overlooking a 27-hole championship golf course.
Michael Damore of A. Epstein & Sons, International is the project architect and John Sharpe of CB Commercial will be responsible for marketing the property.
Huntley is the largest master- planned community in the Midwest, totaling 2,650 acres, situated at the intersection of the Northwest Tollway (1-90) and Rt. 47,. Huntley will eventually incorporate 1,692 acres of residential development, a 220 acre golf club including an 18-hole championship course and a 9-hole
par three executive course, 345 345 acres of commercial/retail use, a 288 acre corporate office park, and 22 acres for municipal functions, all in addition to the 83 acre business park.

Huntley Lions Club To Hold Steak Fry
The Huntley Lions Club is hosting their annual steak fry, Saturday, June Mth from 5:00 to 9:00pm at the American Legion Home in Huntley.
The Lions serve a delicious, juicy 16 oz. T. Bone steak, with a baked potato, salad and rolls. Hamburgers are available for children. Tickets may be purchased in advance from any Lion member. s i
Huntley School Central Office Summer Hours

The Central Office of Huntley School District 158 is scheduled to be open every week day all summer, except Friday, July 4th. Hours will remain 7:00 am until 4:00pm.
Not all Central Office employees will be in every day. Vacations will be scheduled throughout the summer.
Town Picnic & Craft Fair June 22
On Sunday, June 22 the I2th annual Town Picnic will be held in Deicke Park from 10am - 5pm. Parking is available in either the Elementary or the High School parking lots.
There will be live music all day - a singer-storyteller for the kids and a sing-a-long. Lots of activities such as a Moon Walk, A Midevil Joust, an Orbitron, a petting zoo, the Pass, Punt & Kick Contest - Lots of food - a craft fair featuring over 20 crafters and lots more. Move to New School Begins June 16th
A moving crew has been selected and a schedule is being prepared to begin moving items to the new school on the Harmony Road Campus.
The move has been scheduled to begin moving items on Monday, June 16th.
Flag Day/Burning Be June 14
It's a tradition to display the American Flag on Flag Day, Saturday, June 14.
When a flag gets too old or worn to use it must be disposed properly, to show the respect due this symbol of American freedom. The Huntley American Legion will hold a Flag Burning Ceremony at 7:00pm on the Huntley Town Square, across from the Legion Hall. Bring any damaged or unserviceable flags to be disposed of to the American Legion on or before June 14. The Legion will include them in the ceremony.
—NOTICE—
The Village of Huntley will be spraying catch basins and dead water areas for mosquitoes during the week of June I6th. The area of the Town Picnic and the rest of the Village will be sprayed shortly after the first spray.
Grafton Township Open House
Grafton Township lias expanded tiieir office space at 10109 Vine Street in Huntley. The Board recognized the need for additional space required for the rapid growth in the Township. An Open House is planned for Saturday, June 14th from 10am to 12pm. Crystal Lake and Huntley Boy Scouts will raise the flag. The public is invited to meet the Township Officials and view the new additions.
