scouts from Illinois, Iowa, Michigan and Wisconsin march in the
annual Galena Parade. There were not as many troops in attendance
as in previous years. Many of the scouts camped outside pf Galena
fbr the weeken.
Traditionally the scouts arrive in Galena hours before the parade
licpaa, buying souvenirs, snaps and a lot of delicious food. This
year there wefrshMAe bombs to go along with the siups.

PARKOSTRICT MINUTES
The regular meeting of the Huntley Park District was called to order by President Ruth at 8 p.m. on Wednesday, April 23, 1980. Present were: Commis¬ sioners Ruth, Mercer, Weltzien, Tures and Borhart. Also attending were Attomey Cow¬ lin, Larry Kahl and Betsey Warrington.
The minutes of the March
26th meeting were read. A correction was made that Mrs. Mercer had voted nay to the motion for approval of the February 27th minntes. A motion to approve the minutes as corrected waa made by Mr. Weltzien, seconded by Mr. Ruth. All ayes and the motion carried.
The Treasurer's report was given. Mr. Tures moved to accept the report, seconded by Mrs. Mercer. All Commisslon-

The bills for the month were presented. Mr. Tures moved to pay all bills, seconded by Mr. Borhart. All commissioners voted aye and the motion carried.
Mr. Tures made a motion to increase the Secretary- Treasurer fees due to the increase of work, seconded by Mr. Weltzien. All Commission¬ ers voted aye and the tnotion carried.
The grounds and mainten¬ ance committee gave their report including trees, outhous¬ es, tanks, lights, equipment, fertiliser, entrance and roads.

On Satnrday, May 10th. Keith A. Dol»oUnsky. aon (rf Mr. and Mrs. Waher Dobrolfaisky, 12403 N. Lakeview Drive. Huntley, nihiois, will recehre his Eagle Bad^. Boy Sooutings highest award during a Court of Honor ceremony at the Huntley High School Multi-purpose room.
Keith began his scouting career with pack 4331 hi Chicago, where he eamed the ranks of Bobcat, Wolf and Bear. He entered Webloes and received the Arrow of Li^t - Cnb Scoutings highest award and thirteen activity badges before graduating faito Boy ScouU in 1974.
Troop 431 received Keith hi time to attend summer camp fai 1974. He eamed five merit badges and left Troop 431 with the rank of 2nd dass.
Kehh and his fomily moved to Huntley where Kehh jofaied Troop 167. He completed all requfaements for Eagle and earned a total of 34 Merit Badges, he has served as a Den Chief for Webloes Pack 167, a patrol leader, scribe, assistant senk>r patrol leader and is presently a senior patrol leader for Troop 167. As his Eagle Servioe Project he began the coordination of the renovation and preservation of Emerald Lake in Colleen's Cote with the assistance

present a combined Handbell concert. There will be 70 ringers performing at different times on over ISO handbells. The concert will consist of different types of music with added flute and vocal parts. The public is invited ro attend. There will be a free will offering taken.
