presented to htm. Mrs. Sandra FDweO, Sth grade teacher, arranged
the assembly. Phyllis;Keams and Ted Manning escorted Mr.
VoUunan to the meeting. The school presented him with a maroon
bouteneer in the shape of an H with gold ribbon. Mr. Lincoln,
' principal of the Grade ^chool, told Mr. Volkman that the couaage
had a doable meaning, the H for both Harry and Hnntley. Mr.
' Volkman sent the following message to the ichod:

Santa's Fund Committee will be holding the annual costume Holloween Party for all kids. Monday, October 31st. Schedule as fallows:
Place: Grade School Gym Date: Monday, October 31st Time: 7:30 P.M. Ages: Preschool thru 8 th Grade Any High Schoolers & adults too Go see the Jaycees Haunted House, then come to the school gym for the judging of your costumes and the party. Costume judging will be held in each age group as in the past. Prizes will be given to all and refreshments will be served. Get your ideas working for your costumes.
JAYCEE HAUNTED HOUSE
The Huntley area Jaycees Wfll sponsor a haunted house again this year. The spooks house will be In the barn on the Ted Janakowski property acrou from the J. H. Patterson Co., as it was last year. It will be on the same nijiht as trick or treating. The d^ for Huntley trick or treating has not been released as of yet.
This year the club is planning on asklns for a donation to go
through the haunted house to deliray expenses.

Roast Beef Dinner Oct. 30th
"The Annual Roast Beef Din¬ ner" of the First Congregational Church will be on October 30, 1977. There will be seatings at 11:30, 12:15. 1:00 and 1:45. Tickets are S3.S0 for adults, $1.50 for children 6-12. Hckets «re available from Henry Mariowe. Herb Eggers. Don Hardy, John Rugh, Bernice Kalsow, Norma Gariieb, Roger Mealiff, Chuck Lamb and Norma Lindsey.
Senior Citizen Card Party
Do you like to play cards? Ifao, mark the evening tit Wednesday, November 9 on your calendar and plan to attend the Huntley Senior Citizens "old-fashioned" card party, bake sale and bazaar. Tickete will be available by the end of this week from Kate Boncosky. Vera Enstrom. May Chesak. Bernice Bakeley and Elsie Hoy. More details will follow.
Rummage Sale Nov. 4th
The Udies Aid aasisted by the Women's Missionary League of Trinity Lutheran Church, Huntley is holding a Rummage Sale on Friday, November 4 in the Multi¬ purpose room of the church fhim 1:00 to 8:00.
On Saturday, November 5 the Rummage Sale with boars 9t00 to 2:00. A half-price aale wW be from 12:00 to 2K)0 on Saturday.

School Board Minutes
A special meeting to discuas Teacher Negotiations of the Hunt¬ lc School District #1S8 was held in the Iflgh School Building at 8:00 p.m.
President Livingston called the meeting to order at 8:00 p.m. Upon roll call, the following answered present: Mn. Pawl. Mr*. Uvlngstm, Mr. Brettschnei¬ der, Mr. Pupich, and Mr. Zitk. iMn. Koppie and Mr. Grismer were absent.
President Livingstm called for an ezecative session. Mrs. Koppie and Mr. Grismer joined ; the meeting in executive sesakn lat8:05p.m. Tbe board cana oat i of executive saaaion at lOtSS p.m. A motion to adjoam was made by .< Mrs. Koppie and 2nd by Mr«. Pawl. Motion carried 7 yeas. 0 nays. Meeting adjourned.
The regular meeting of the Board of Education of School District #158. Huntley Consoli¬ dated Schools. Huntley. Dlinois was held in the High School building at 7:30 p.m.
Upon roll call, the following answared present: Mn. Pawl, Mrs. Livingston, Mr. Brettschnei¬ der. Mn. Koppie, Mr. Pupich, and Mr. Zirk. Mr. Grismer absent.
A motion by Mr. Brettschnei¬ der. 2nd by Mrs. Pawl, to approve the minutes of Sept. 8. 1977 meeting. Memben voted 6 yeas, 0 nays, motkm carried.
Mn. Koppie made a motion to approve the minutes of the Sept. 19. 1977 meeting, 2nd by Mr. Brettschneider. Memben voted 6 yeas. 0 nays, motion carried.
1. A motion to approve the payment of bills was made by Mr. Brettschneider, 2nd by Mrs. Pawl. Memben voting yea were: Mr. Brettschneider. Mn. Pawl. Mrs. Koppie. Mrs. Livingston, Mr. Pnpidi, and Mr. 23rk. 6 yeas, 0 nays, motion carried.
2. To transfer the sum of S994.44 to the Imprest Fund wai made by Mn. livlngston and 2nd by Mn. Ki^pie. Memben voting yea were: Mn. Uvingstoa; Mn. Koppie, Mr. Pupich. Mn. Pawl, Mr. Brettschneider, and Mr.
