Last Thursday, the Huntley P.T.O. put on their annual Teacher Luncheon with P.T.O. members, teachers and administrators attending. Following a delicious luncheon. Dr. Robert Frank spoke to the teachers about teaching methods. Dr. Frank is the Dean of the Philosphy Department at MCC and was formerly pastor of the 1st Congregational Church in Huntley. This event gives new teachers a chance to meet their collegues.
BALLET LESSON OFFERED
On Sept. 12, the fall session of the popular ballet classes sponsored by Huntley Park District will begin. Ages S-7 will come 9:00-10:00 A.M. and ages 8 and up from 10:00-11:00 A.M. The classes will be held at the First Congregational Church in
Huntley. The classes will continue through. Oct. 17. The fee is S7.S0 for Huntltfy Park District residents and $9.00 for non-residents. The instructor of the class is Kim Baran, a very talented young lady who is in the advanced daas of the Judith Svalander Dance Theatre in Crystal Lake. Advance registra¬ tion is required. The Huntley Lion's Club held their annual picnic iast Sunday at Deicke Park with a pig roast prepared by Bill Keams. Games wer provided for children. The crowd had a good time with frolicking and fun.

PARK DISTRICT MEETING
The regular meeting of the Huntley Park District was called to order by President Borhart at 8 o'clock Wednesday, August 26, 1961. Present were Commissioncri Borhart, Mer¬ cer, Wehzien, Tures and Jurs and AttDtaey Cowlin, Larry Kahl and Betsey Warrington.
The minutes of die July meeting were read. Mr. Weltzien moved to approve the minutes, seconded by Mr. Tures. All the Commissioners voted aye and the motion carried.
The Treasurer's report was given. A motion to accept the report was made by Mr. Tures, seconded by Mrs. Mercer. All aves and the motion carried.
The bills for the month were presented. Mr. Tures made a motion to pay all bills, second by Mr. Weltzien. AH ayes and the rndtion carried.
Reservatioos for park fecili- ties were discosaed. All were accepted ezcept one from out of district.
The Trath in Tazatlon act was discussed. The levy has already been passed and published in the newspapers.

Betaey Warringtm presented her summer program finance report. The fall aad winter programs were iHscnssed and she left tfae meeting.
